Currently Lecturer of Dance at Bolton University as well as founder and creative director of Maelstrom Theatre.

Lindsey has lectured at Edge Hill, ALRA, UCLAN, Cumbria, LIPA, Salford and Lancaster as well as Choreographed and mentored for Youth Companies and Professional Theatre companies; CDYC, Misfits, Ludus, Newman, Preston Youth, 12 Degrees North.

As a performer Lindsey has worked in dance in the NW, nationally and internationally. In her early career she worked with Jean Gaudin, (FRA) David Dorfman (USA) Matthew Borne (UK) David Massingham (UK) Della Davidson (USA) as part of Transitions Dance company. Lindsey created solo works for Irvine Welsh, Hanif Kurishi and award winning poet and writer Tim Wells as well as working with; Erzatz, Art Throb, Sirens Crossing, Stephen Petronio, Rebound before creating her own company, Maelstrom. These works have been performed across the UK (Newcastle, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Lancaster, Chester) they include Epilogue V1 & V2, (2009/10) Got Legs winner of 2011 TURN dance prize (NW funded consortium of Greenroom, HaB Arts, Dance Manchester, LiCA and Contact Theatre) Ballast (2011/12) Ladies Crossing (2012) The Truth about Me (2013) Preppers (2014) Oversight (current).
